He is a member of the equity research team and is responsible for overseeing a team of analysts who manage portfolios in the Asian consumer products and global consumer products sector.Prior to joining the firm in 2008, Barton served as vice president at Pequot Capital where he ran a long/short Asian portfolio within a global hedge fund. Prior to that, he held positions at Credit Suisse, Morgan Stanley and UBS in Asian equity sales covering buy-side institutions in the western region of the U.S. Barton graduated with a B.A., magna cum laude, in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.

背景介紹	Alexander Muromcew is a managing director and active equity portfolio manager with the TIAA-CREF organization. Mr. Muromcew manages emerging markets equity portfolios. He joined TIAA-CREF in 2004.Mr. Muromcew has 23 years of investment experience. Previously, he was a vice president and portfolio manager for the Loomis Sayles International portfolio for five years and co-manager of the Nicholas Applegate International portfolio for three years. He began his career as a sell-side analyst for Jardine Fleming Securities in Tokyo and also worked for Teton Partners, an international long/short hedge strategy in Boston.Mr. Muromcew holds a B.A. in East Asian studies from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He is fluent in Japanese.
