John continues to speak at various industry conferences and has spoken as a guest lecturer at Florida International University and Oxford University. He has also taught as an instructor at the New York Institute of Finance and the Bond Market Association. John has over 35 years of investment management experience. Prior to joining Cumberland in 2000, he was the Director of Municipal Bond Investments for Lord Abbett & Company. He also worked previously for Shearson Lehman Brothers and E.F. Hutton.
