He was formerly head of strategy for European equities at Jupiter Asset Management, where he worked from 1995 to November 2019. He has been the lead portfolio manager to European Opportunities Trust PLC since its launch in November 2000. Before joining Jupiter, Alexander trained as an investment analyst with de Zoete & Bevan (BZW) before moving in 1987 to Enskilda Securities in Paris, where he became head of French equity research. He joined Goldman Sachs in London in 1992, where he worked as a French equity analyst. Alexander has a degree in History from Cambridge University. | ||
