Prior to joining Columbia Management, Mr. D'Arcy worked on the fixed-income trading desk at Wells Capital Management. Mr. D'Arcy received his B.A. in economics from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. In addition, he is a member of the CFA North Carolina Society and the National Federation of Municipal Analysts.

Previously, he was a portfolio manager and managed the municipal bond team at Thornburg Investment Management. In his career, Chris has managed municipal bond portfolios all along the yield curve and across the credit spectrum (from investment grade to high yield). In his prior roles, he was instrumental in developing and executing inter market derivative strategies. Chris is a member of the University of New Mexico's Regent's Portfolio Investment Advisory Committee and a member of the New Mexico Museum Foundation investment committee. Chris served on the board of the MSRB (Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board). He has a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Villanova University and an MBA from Drexel University.
