Ian joined the Investment team of Legal & General Assurance in 1980. He was appointed as US Equity portfolio manager one year later. In 1991 Ian was responsible for running the Unit Trust Funds for Legal & General. In1996 Ian was appointed head of North American Equities in addition to managing the Life, Pension and Unit Trust Funds. Ian has achieved Standard & Poors A* funds rating for performance both with Legal & General and Schroders.
