Prior to joining, Azim worked at HSBC Global Asset Management where he had overall responsibility for all credit investment funds in London – this included Sterling, US and Global credit products for both retail and institutional clients. During his time at HSBC, Azim was also a member of various committees including the Global Strategic and Credit Committees as well as being the chair of the Global Credit Asset Allocation Committee. Prior to this, Azim was a Credit Research Analyst both in London and New York. He began his career with Deutsche Bank in 2000 as an analyst having just graduated with a First Class honours degree in Economics.
